A Vedam Community Platform

The Mothers'

Circle.

"Partners in learning."A long-term platform where mothers move from being participants in school life to active contributors in the Vedam learning ecosystem — through sessions, mentorship, and shared conviction.

The Idea

Education becomes more powerful when there is alignment between school and home. The Mothers' Circle is where that alignment is built, tested, and lived — one conversation, one classroom, one contribution at a time.

How Mothers Contribute

Four ways to lean in.

The Circle is not a committee. It's an open invitation to bring your experience, expertise, and interests into the school — in whatever shape suits you.

Guest Sessions

Mothers with expertise — in medicine, design, law, finance, the arts — share their world with students through short, warm classroom sessions.

Mentorship

One-to-one and small-group mentorship for older students exploring careers, passions, and life beyond the classroom.

Community Initiatives

Book drives, wellness circles, cultural evenings, and neighbourhood projects — designed with mothers, delivered with the school.

Curriculum Voice

A structured feedback loop into what students experience — clubs, libraries, festivals, and the small textures of school life.

The Launch Moment

Mother's Day. Learning, unwrapped.

The Circle launches every year on Mother's Day — not as a celebration to sit through, but as an experience to step into. Mothers join a live Project-Based Learning session, guided by student facilitators, and walk out with a first-hand sense of how their children think, collaborate, and solve real problems.

Students lead. Teachers observe. Mothers discover.

"

We didn't want another Mother's Day tea. We wanted mothers to feel what their children feel in a Vedam classroom — the questions, the messiness, the joy of figuring it out.

The Yearly Rhythm

Four quarters. Four openings.

Each quarter, the Circle opens a different window into Vedam — so mothers stay informed, involved, and aligned with how we teach.

If you're a Vedam mother — or a mother of a prospective Vedam student — we'd love to hear what you'd like to bring to the room.
