Boarding Terms

Admission to the boarding programme is subject to:

• Confirmation of admission to VEDAM World School.
• Submission of all required documents and medical records.
• Payment of the prescribed boarding fee.
• Acceptance of all school and boarding policies.

The school reserves the right to refuse or withdraw boarding admission if any information provided during admission is found to be false or incomplete.

• Boarding fees shall be paid as per the fee schedule communicated by the school.
• Delayed payment may attract late payment charges.
• Students with outstanding dues may not be permitted to continue in the boarding programme.
• Fee refunds, if any, shall be governed by the school’s refund policy.

Students are expected to:

• Follow the daily boarding schedule.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene.
• Respect fellow students, staff members and school property.
• Participate in study hours, sports, activities and community programmes.
• Maintain punctuality and discipline at all times.
• Use school facilities responsibly.

• Boarders are expected to remain on campus throughout the academic term unless officially permitted.
• Leave will only be granted with prior written approval from the Boarding Administration.
• Parents must submit leave requests in advance through the prescribed process.
• Students may leave campus only with authorised parents/guardians approved by the school.

• Parents must disclose complete medical history, allergies and ongoing medications during admission.
• The school shall provide first aid and necessary medical assistance whenever required.
• In case of emergencies, the school may arrange immediate medical treatment and inform parents at the earliest.
• Medical expenses outside routine healthcare may be borne by the parents.

Students should:

• Take care of their personal belongings.
• Avoid bringing expensive jewellery, gadgets or valuables unless specifically permitted.
• Clearly label all personal items.

The school shall not be responsible for loss or damage caused due to negligence or violation of boarding rules.

The use of mobile phones and other electronic devices shall be governed by the Boarding Policy.

Students are expected to use technology responsibly and only during authorised timings, if permitted by the school.

Every boarder is expected to:

• Treat everyone with dignity and respect.
• Follow instructions of boarding staff.
• Refrain from bullying, ragging, discrimination or harassment.
• Maintain appropriate behaviour on campus and during school activities.
• Uphold the values and ethos of VEDAM World School.

The school maintains appropriate supervision and security measures to provide a safe boarding environment. Students are expected to cooperate with all safety protocols and emergency procedures.

Any act including but not limited to:

• Violence
• Ragging
• Bullying
• Theft
• Substance abuse
• Possession of prohibited items
• Damage to school property
• Serious misconduct

may result in disciplinary action, suspension from boarding, or withdrawal from the school depending upon the nature of the offence.

Parents are encouraged to maintain regular communication through official channels. Parents are requested to:

• Respect boarding communication schedules.
• Inform the school promptly of any change in contact details.
• Cooperate with the boarding team for the child’s overall development.

VEDAM World School reserves the right to modify or update these Terms & Conditions whenever necessary. Continued participation in the boarding programme shall constitute acceptance of the revised terms.
