What we do
Six live partnerships.
Municipal Reading Programme
Vedam Grade 8–10 students mentor primary-school readers at four partner municipal schools across Lucknow. Weekly sessions, over a full academic year.
Health & Hygiene Drives
Termly campaigns in partnership with a local hospital — dental checks, vision screening, and nutrition workshops in low-income neighbourhoods.
Winter Warmth
Every December, Vedam families collect and distribute over a thousand warm layers across shelters and worker communities in Lucknow.
Digital Literacy
Senior CS students run weekend classes for the children of our support staff — Excel, email, and safe internet use.
Environmental Action
Our eco-club runs the Gomti riverside clean-up two Saturdays each term, in partnership with a local environmental collective.
Cultural Exchange
Vedam hosts and visits schools from across India each year — sharing performances, workshops, and time on each other's campuses.
